I stayed at Humbug Mountain State Park for a week and watched daily how the tide shifted the creek around the beach. One day it would have a sharp curve with 3 foot high walls, the next it looked like this as water rushed over rocks, which only became visible if the creek was flowing elsewhere and the tide washed away the sand. It's always interesting to see how beaches change from one season or even day to the next.
