I set out this day without really knowing what to expect. I just knew I wanted to try and get a closer shot of Mt Sneffels so I took Couny Road 7 in Ridgway, Colorado to see what I could find. After traveling about 30 minutes on the pothole filled road, I came across this view and knew I had my spot. Once I finished up here I started heading closer to the base, but with darkness approaching, no cell service and not having a clue what the road was like, I decided it would be safest to turn around. But there lied the issue because it was just a single lane road with no place to even attempt to turn around with my long ass truck. I eventually had to just drive backwards through potholes for about a mile back to here and was finally able to safely return from which I came. It was quite the experience to say the least but it was worth capturing this view.
