Well this bird has seen better days, but it made a worthy sacrifice because it's actually my first pictures of a peregrine eating something. This day on a backcountry road in Nehalem, Oregon saw me get an american kestrel eating a worm as long as it's body, then getting my first red-tailed hawk catching and eating prey, and then later on in the day I went back during sunset and saw this scene. What a great birding day to say the least!!
