Work those head feathers! Wind gusts give this immature bald eagle an interesting look. I was leaving Nehalem Bay State Park in January 2018 to shoot the sunset at Hug Point, when at the last second I turned right towards the docks instead of getting on the 101. I figured I'd scan the bay real quick and be on my way and low and behold wouldn't you know a bald eagle was perched on these old rusted columns at the boat launch.
