Perfect conditions lead to huge swells battering the Oregon coastline and sending waves hundres of feet in the air at Shore Acres State Park, located on Cape Arago, Oregon. This scene was the entire reason I decided to spend the entire winter out on the Oregon coast. I wanted to experience crazy ocean weather patterns, and even though this was a beautiful not too windy morning, 15-20 foot swells battered the coast. You can see a person standing next to the trees. Believe it or not they won't get hit by the water either. It will land on the slanted rock about 25 feet away. Pretty cool too see right up close and even get soaked if you dare choose!
